Ok, so I don't know if anyone is still watching my dA account, but that's ok. Basically, I've been working on a fairly large project the last couple of days. "Only Lie Beneath Beautiful Ice" is a random phrase that my girlfriend and her roommate for next year accidentally made with the poetry magnets we found in her locker. I called dibs on using the phrase, and have decided to write a musical composition with that title. Now anyone who knows me knows that I like the longer songs, and this one is shaping up to be no exception. I made the conscious decision to write the piece as five separate songs,each based on one word of the title using the same or similar thematic material to link it together into a single piece. So far, I have written the first three, and am working on the fourth. I plan to upload it here over the course of five days once I finish it, but I won't start until it is actually done. I don't know what kind of audio adjustments I'm going to have to make, and I don't want the parts to be different due to some unforeseen problem.
