Yes yes, I know I haven't done anything in like a year.  But ever since dA sort of GOT RID OF the ability to post mp3s I've lost any way to post my music.  So even though I didn't finish Only Lie Beneath Beautiful Ice like I wanted, I *am* still working on music and plan to incorporate bits of OLBBI into new music as I see fit.  

Anywho, on to the relevant information!

I am about to post some found poetry, which is basically where one takes a selection of text, whether a book or a song or a pamphlet, and boxes, underlines, or otherwise singles out certain words to create a poem.  See, I've ran into a sort of writer's block recently, where even though I feel like I have a lot to say emotionally, I can't seem to actually write any poetry.  Plus, we have a pretty extensive used bookstore near where I work and when I thought of found poetry, I figured that the best kinds of books to deface would be used ones that I don't care about.  

Woo!

My eventual goal with these found poems is to set them to music and hopefully record them somehow.  Laptop mics suck but maybe it will turn out alright.  Then again maybe it won't but I'll cross that bridge once I actually write the songs.   And since my guitar-USB interface didn't exactly pan out, the instrumental backing is probably going to be electronic.  Grr.

So yeah.  Cheers to anyone who actually follows me anymore! Can't say I haven't given people reason to forget about me... Stupid chronic procrastination.
